She's as quiet as a mouse
Lost in the cracks of the house
No one knows
The pain she holds
She faces the world up close
Their fake love is just another daily dose
Of the shit instilling shame, guilt, and fear
Into her tears
She cries out
But no one hears a single shout
It's all too subtle, because she's as quiet as a mouse

So who does she have to confide?
She's lost her way
Others too surface to see her dismay
She must find her own
Loud and boisterous tone
To strengthen the power behind her voice
It is now a choice
She knows there is more out there
She wonders is it worth the bear?
